Change Tracking

It is important for HR and Payroll staff to know when an employee record is new, or has recently changed in a significant way.

With a Dataleaf® system -- regardless of the specific date-tracking architecture -- the end-user can instantly retrieve various groups of changed records, without any "ad hoc programming."

Changes for specific fields, or any significant field, for any employee or for all employees, may be retrieved in one operation. Reasonable periods such as week, month, year, and quarter are automatically supported.

There is virtually no performance impact for even the most extensive change tracking operations, as change information is already compiled in the Dataleaf® architecture.

ANY report, ANY set of changed records

It is always possible for a user to apply any catalogued report to any subclass of recently changed records, using any desired selection criteria.
